To install RMsis in Jira, you can follow these steps:
Go to the Jira UPM (Universal Plugin Manager) page. This page allows you to manage and install apps in Jira.
Navigate to the "Manage Apps" section. This section provides options for handling apps within Jira.
Look for an "Upload App" or "Upload Add-on" button. This button allows you to upload and install a new app.
Click on the "Upload App" button. This will open a dialog box or prompt where you can specify the details of the app you want to install.
In the dialog box, provide the RMsis descriptor URL. The RMsis descriptor URL is "https://connect.app.rmsis.optimizoryapps.com/atlassian-connect.json".
Click on the "Install" or "Upload" button to initiate the installation process. Jira will retrieve the app from the provided URL and install it.
- Once the installation is complete, you should see RMsis listed among your installed apps in Jira.
License Activation
- After installation of RMsis in UPM from Atlassian Marketplace, a message will appear in UI, i.e License is not active. Please buy license or if you are existing customer then it will show message that "Renew your License".

Generating Trial License
- The screen shows the system code for this RMsis instance.
- To generate license key, click on "RMsis Evaluation License Key"
- The CRM System will prompt you to
- enter login information
- OR create your login
- Once logged in, the system will seek input on the number of users desired.
- Enter number of users, check "Terms and Conditions" and "Privicay Policy".
- Click on "Proceed", generates the license.
- Copy the license key from CRM and paste it in the text box given at the RMsis installation screen.
- Click the submit button. It will show license validity.
Buying a License
- To buy a Perpetual License Key, click on "Buy RMsis Production License Key"
- The CRM System will prompt you to
- enter login information
- OR create your login
- Once logged in, the system will seek input on your choice of license.
- Select the Type of License, check "Terms and Conditions" and "Privicay Policy".
- Click on "Generate License and Proceed"
- You will get a Quotation for the choice and will be offered a choice of payment options
- Credit Card / Paypal
- Wire Transfer
- Pay using your preferred option
- Once you payment is received, the License will be automatically enabled.
- You can access the same by clicking in the Account > Generate License option.
- Select the license, you wish to generate.
- Enter the system code from your installation.
- Press Generate
- Once the license is generated, copy and paste into your installation.
- Pressing Submit, enables the new license
- Go to the url: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/30899/rmsis-requirements-management-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
- Click on the button "Try it free" and a small pop up window will open select option "Cloud".
- Click on button "Start free trial", you will have to choose a site/instance to install this app, refer below screenshot.
- After choosing instance need to click on the "Request app" button.
- Finally request app will be approved by Atlassian and RMsis free license will get activate.
