Note: RMsis plugin for Confluence is still in Beta and the current implementation provides some very basic features, far from what the Plugin eventually intends to provide.
 Prerequisites

In order to integrate Confluence with RMsis,

Step 1 : Install using  Confluence Universal Plugin Manager

  • Login as Confluence Administrator and select Plugin > Plugin > Install
  • Get the URL for the desired version of RMsis connector for Confluence from http://products.optimizory.com/rmsis/downloadby contacting support@optimizory.com. While requesting, please also state the RMsis version which you are using.
  • Login as Confluence Administrator and select Plugin > Plugin > Install
  • Click on Upload Plugin and enter the URL when prompted.

In order to access RMsis / JIRA from Confluence, it is necessary to have trust relationship between configure AppLinks for Confluence and JIRA. AppLinks configuration provides this trust relationship. Please refer below the following link for detailed information :

Preferred Authentication Modes

AppLinks supports many authentication modes like

  • Trusted Application
  • Basic Authentication
  • oAuth

For the development version, please use Trusted Application OR Basic Authentication mode. The oAuth mode has a bug in the current version [RPC-12].

However, in the long term, we would recommend use of OAuth authentication for AppLinks Configuration. Other methods may not be supported in future.
