Installing - RMsis Plugin for Confluence
Note: RMsis plugin for Confluence is still in Beta and the current implementation provides some very basic features, far from what the Plugin eventually intends to provide.
Prerequisites
In order to integrate Confluence with RMsis,
- RMsis Plugin for Confluence must be installed
- The user will need a special license to enable Confluence Interface. In case of any issues, please contact support@optimizory.com.
Step 1 : Install using Confluence Universal Plugin Manager
- Get the URL for the desired version of RMsis connector for Confluence by contacting support@optimizory.com. While requesting, please also state the RMsis version which you are using.
- Login as Confluence Administrator and select Plugin > Plugin > Install
- Click on Upload Plugin and enter the URL when prompted.
Step 2 : Configure AppLinks
In order to access RMsis / JIRA from Confluence, it is necessary to configure AppLinks for Confluence and JIRA. Please refer the following link for detailed information :

Preferred Authentication Modes
AppLinks supports many authentication modes like
- Trusted Application
- Basic Authentication
- oAuth
For the development version, please use Trusted Application OR Basic Authentication mode. The oAuth mode has a bug in the current version [RPC-12].
However, in the long term, we would recommend use of OAuth authentication for AppLinks Configuration. Other methods may not be supported in future.
