Prerequisites

In order to integrate Confluence with RMsis,

  • RMsis Plugin for Confluence must be installed
  • The user will need a special license to enable Confluence Interface. In case of any issues, please contact support@optimizory.com.

Step 1 : Install using  Confluence Universal Plugin Manager

  • Login as Confluence Administrator and select Plugin > Plugin > Install
  • Get the URL for the desired version of RMsis connector for Confluence from http://products.optimizory.com/rmsis/download
  • Click on Upload Plugin and enter the URL when prompted.

In order to access RMsis / JIRA from Confluence, it is necessary to have trust relationship between Confluence and JIRA. AppLinks configuration provides this trust relationship. Please refer below link for detailed information :

Preferred Authentication Modes

AppLinks supports many authentication modes like

  • Trusted Application
  • Basic Authentication
  • oAuth

Though all of them will work in the developmental version, we recommend use of OAuth authentication for AppLinks Configuration. Other methods may not be supported in future.
