In order to create Links Explorer Traceability report user can follow the below steps:

  • Click on Apps Menu >> Links Explorer Menu Item as shown in figure below:

  • Now, select any pre-saved filter using the Filter drop-down or use the JQL editor to filter issues by entering a new JQL Query. The filtered issues would be used to construct the report.

  • You can use the tabs panel to switch among the Report Views - Issue Type View, Link Type View and Tree View

Issue type View

This report displays traceability between issue types. For each filtered issue, it displays information about the issue and its related issue types in a row.

Link Type View

This report displays traceability between linked issues. For each filtered issue, the report displays information about the issue and corresponding link types

Tree View

This report displays traceability in tree structure. Each filtered issue appears as a main branch which can be expanded to see the linked issues. Filters can be applied on children on various attributes e.g. priority, issue type etc by using the `Priority`, `Issue Type` dropdowns.

Orphan Issues

The tree can also show orphan issues (issues which are independent and without any parent/subtasks) in a branch.
To toggle the appearance of the orphan issues, the `Show/Hide Orphan Issues` button can be used.

The load more orphan issues button can be used to load more orphan issues if present.
