FAQ about using RMsis
Requirements
I have a wide Data Table with many columns. However there is no scroll bar and I cannot see columns on the right side of the window !
This is a IE-7 specific problem
- In case you have to continue using IE-7 for any reason; then the only way to access the columns on the right side of browser is by disabling view of few columns in the table. This feature is described here http://docs.optimizory.com/display/rmsis/Select+columns+to+be+displayed+in+main+table
- IE-7 also seems to have performance problems for large data tables.Â
- Upgrade to IE-8 is strongly recommended.
The application should behave normally withÂ
- RMsis v.1.4.1-r.42 (latest release) and IE-8 / Chrome 11 or later / Firefox 3.5 or later
- We would recommend browser window size of 1360 x 768 pixels or more for comfortable use

Do you have a description of the default requirement handling process supported by RMsis? It would help us a lot to get an understanding how RMsis works and how we can apply to our process.

In the word reports there is a field called "Parent Requirement". How do we populate this field in the tool ?
This is related to the requirement hierarchy visible on the screen. For example,
- If you create two requirements Req-1 and Req-2 in the following order
- Req-1
- Req-2
- Select Req-2 and Indent it, then the view on screen will be as follows
- Req-1
- Â Â Â Req-2
- Here Req-1 will become a parent of Req-2.
