RMsis license is floating license or named license?

Question : The RMsis license are ‘floating’ licences or are they assigned to named individuals?

Answer :

  • The license is not issued against specific (named) users. RMsis license is based on number of active users. 

  • The number of active users at any point of time has to be equal to or less than the number of users in RMsis license.

  • In RMsis, System Administrator has the flexibility to activate / disable a user.

  • A user will remain active till explicitly disabled by the Administrator.

  • Login status of a user will not have any impact on the user configuration
