Account not active in RMsis

Question : When I try to access RMsis, I receive an error "Your account is not active. Please contact administrator to activate your account". How can I access RMsis?

Answer :

  • You are receiving this error because your account is not active in RMsis.

  • Currently, RMsis inherits all Projects and Users from JIRA. 

    • All the users belonging to jira-administrators Group have admin rights in RMsis.

    • RMsis automatically activates users (upto the number of users for which your RMsis license is valid) starting from those belonging to jira-administrators Group (in the order in which they are present in database table)

  • Now, in your case, other admin users (belonging to jira-administrators Group) have been activated in RMsis.

  • When you are trying to access RMsis, you are receiving the message : Your account is not active. Please contact administrator "<username> <E mail ID>" to activate your account.

  • The username(s) displayed in this message are the users/ admins who are currently activated in RMsis. 

  • In order to resolve this issue, ask one of the active admin users to enable your account in RMsis.

    • It may be required to disable one of the other active users if the number of currently active users in your RMsis instance is equal to the number of users for which your RMsis license is valid.

    • Please ask one of the currently active admin user in RMsis to

      • switch to RMsis Administration > Users page and deactivate one of the other active user by disabling the active check box
        activate your account by enabling the active checkbox.
