Configure delimiter/column separator for importing/ exporting CSV files

Question : Is it possible to configure what character is used as a delimiter/ column separator sign when importing/ exporting CSV files to/from RMsis?

Answer :

  • From RMsis 1.7.7-r203 and later versions, you can configure delimiter/ column separator as comma or semi-colon while exporting/importing CSV file.
  • By default, the column separator for exporting/ importing CSV files is set as comma (,) in RMsis.
  • If you want to change it to semi colon ( ; ) , please follow the steps mentioned below :
    • Switch to RMsis Administration > Configuration > Application and scroll down to the "Global Configuration" table.
    • Now, in the section "CSV Export/Import" , select option "Semicolon" from the "CSV File Column Separator" drop down menu.
